NEW YORK, United States — Fashion giant Tommy Hilfiger is working on a memoir.
Hilfiger, 63, has a deal with Ballantine Books for a book expected this fall, the publisher announced Thursday. According to Ballantine, an imprint of Random House, Hilfiger will describe “the setbacks, triumphs, and sheer determination” that marked his rise from a little denim shop in Elmira, New York, to worldwide fame. The memoir is currently untitled. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Hilfiger’s previous works include collaborations on “New England Style” and “Iconic America: A Roller-Coaster Ride Through the Eye-Popping Panorama of American Pop Culture.”
