Duvetica Sets Product, Retail Expansion

ADDED FIBER: Duvetica, a Venetian maker of down jackets, is in expansion mode. At its fall-winter 2015 presentation during fashion week in Milan, the brand unveiled cashmere sweaters dyed to match the 24 colors of its puffers, plus a range of outerwear – toggle coats, pea jackets and cardigans – melding channels of feathers with luxurious wools from Loro Piana and Ermenegildo Zegna. The 10-year-old firm, which operates stores mainly in resort locations, with St. Moritz opening soon, is next eyeing a move on the U.S. market – either New York City or Aspen, according to a company rep. The company’s top market is Japan, and has an ongoing capsule range with Junya Watanabe. Duvetica also collaborates with Japanese architect Tadao Ando on its stores and showrooms.
