Marc Jacobs and ImagineX Form Joint Venture

Marc Jacobs International and ImagineX Group said Wednesday that they have signed an agreement to establish a 50-50 joint-venture company in both Hong Kong and Macau to distribute the brand’s collections in those two markets. The companies said the newly formed Marc Jacobs Hong Kong Distribution Company Limited will enter operations as of March 1 and take over the existing Marc Jacobs retail network in the region as a base for further development. ImagineX is the brand distribution arm of The Lane Crawford Joyce Group. It is already a distributor for the Marc Jacobs’ diffusion brand Marc by Marc Jacobs in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
