Pamela Salkovitz Tapped as President of Nine West

Pamela J. Salkovitz has been named president of Nine West, a new post. She will oversee business operations of the Nine West and Bandolino brands. Salkovitz returns to Nine West having worked in a variety of senior leadership roles at the footwear brand from 1985 to 1998. She had been executive vice president, merchandising and marketing; president, specialty stores, and president, value stores. Following the acquisition of Nine West by the Jones Group, she was group president of Jones Apparel from 1998 to 2000, where she led the integration of six separate apparel and accessory divisions. She left Jones to become president of Stride Rite Children’s Group Inc., a subsidiary of The Stride Rite Corp., where she worked from 2002 to 2010. After that she became a partner at Konnected Advisors, and served as interim chief executive officer of the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts. Salkovitz reports to the board of directors.
