BUILDING THE TEAM: Rent the Runway is beefing up its executive team. The almost six-year-old company, which recently raised an additional $60 million in funding, told WWD it’s brought on Alexis Bryan Morgan as director of designer relations and special projects and Saks Fifth Avenue alum Sarah Tam as senior vice president, merchandising and planning. Before joining the clothing and accessories rental Web site, Morgan was executive fashion director at Lucky magazine and held posts at Elle and Vanity Fair. Other big hires include Linda Honan as chief creative officer and Britt Morgan Saks as vice president of strategic partnerships — making the executive team 75 percent female, a rarity in the tech space.
