Roberto Eggs to Join Moncler

Roberto Eggs is joining Moncler SpA as the group’s new chief operating office, effective May 1. Eggs is president, Europe, Middle East and Africa at Louis Vuitton, which he joined in 2009 after an extensive experience at Nestlé SA. Under chairman and chief executive officer Remo Ruffini, Moncler, which is publicly listed, continued to grow in 2014, lifted by strong gains in all international markets. As reported last week, Moncler’s net earnings were up 71 percent to 130.3 million euros, or $173.3 million at average exchange, compared with 2013, on revenues that rose 20 percent to 694.2 million euros, or $923.3 million.
