Kuba Dabrowski, the eye behind WWD’s They Are Wearing slide shows during European fashion weeks, traveled to London, Milan and Paris to document the unique style scene and ambiance outside the ready-to wear shows. “Although it was February, it felt like spring,” the 35-year old explained. “We had 17 degrees [Celsius] in Milan, 15 in Paris and one day of rain in London – yes, just one day! Usually you have people layered up, not this time. It was good in terms of being outside for such a long period.” Here, he picks his favorite images from the three cities, with more shots from the French capital than from any other city, because “Paris is the most diverse.” Dabrowski is always eager to discover new locations. “I like the Kenzo show location a lot at Porte de la Villette on the outskirts of Paris. It felt New York-ish.” He also likes the Louis Vuitton Foundation location. “The architecture is amazing but also it’s a forest. Because it’s Louis Vuitton, a luxurious brand, people are really dressed up, and you shoot them in the woods; there is no asphalt.
