Zara Expanding at Block 37 in Chicago

EVER BIGGER: Zara plans to more than double its current retail location at Block 37 in Chicago, creating a 30,000-square-foot flagship. Located at 108 N. State St. and bordered by State, Randolph, Dearborn and Washington Streets, construction on the project is scheduled to begin in the next few months. The new store will incorporate the existing store and a second level. Zara currently has four stores in Illinois: Oakbrook Center, Westfield Old Orchard and two in Chicago, one at 700 N. Michigan Ave. and Block 37. In addition to Zara, Block 37 retailers include Akira Chicago, Anthropologie and Steve Madden. In addition to the Zara expansion, Block 37 newcomers will include Parisian costume jeweler Les Néréides.
