BEYOND THE FRONT ROW: Fashion show tabloid The Daily Front Row has parted company with its publisher Paul Turcotte. Sources indicated Turcotte was recently let go. The DFR confirmed Turcotte’s departure, but did not address reports that he was ousted. Turcotte, who was brought in by chief executive and editor in chief Brandusa Niro two years ago, was largely seen as her right-hand man, according to insiders. Multiple sources indicated that Niro’s business has been under pressure for some time. And impending changes in New York Fashion Week’s venue and IMG’s new ownership may also impact the DFR’s distribution deal inside officially sponsored venues. In addition to its fashion week tabloid, DFR produces The Daily Summer, a Hamptons-centric publication. At one time, it also published The Daily Brides, which has since shuttered, and a separate partnership with Dan’s Papers, a Hamptons fixture, was dissolved.
