GQ Reveals Selections for Best New Menswear Designers in America

NEW QUARTET: GQ has revealed the four designers it has selected for the fourth edition of its Best New Menswear Designers in America program. The designers — David Hart, Stampd, NSF and The Hill-Side — will be revealed in the magazine’s April issue, which hits newsstands today. As part of the project, the four designers will collaborate with The Gap on a limited-edition capsule collection, which will be sold exclusively at Gap stores in more than seven countries as well as online this fall. Pieces from the collection will also be featured in GQ’s October issue. “Each designer has their own unique and signature style from L.A. surf/street, New York City retro chic, Japanese-inspired American craft, and West Coast personal DIY style,” said Tony Kretten, vice president of men’s design for Gap. The 2014 roster included Daniel Lewis of Brooklyn Tailors, Rob Garcia of En Noir, John Elliott of John Elliott + Co. and John Moore of M.Nii.
