EddieBorgo.com Getting Revamped

BORGO ON THE WEB: Eddie Borgo is undergoing a makeover — at least, his online presence is. On Monday, the accessories designer will launch a new Web site to enhance the user experience. The Web overhaul comes just a month after Borgo’s entry into the handbag market, the likes of which will be heavily displayed on the site’s homepage. The revamped EddieBorgo.com will focus on the storytelling behind the brand, allowing customers to follow the creative process behind individual pieces. Such content includes the display of inspirational images, design and development processes and three-dimensional video renderings. Additionally, a “Scrapbook” feature will offer detailed references behind Borgo’s inspiration. E-commerce will get an update with new shopping categories to highlight particular styles, as well as shoppable looks and gift guides. On the technical side, the site will be updated with high-end UX to provide it with an overall faster speed.
