Peninsula Hotels and Net-a-porter Partner for City Guides

TRAVEL DUO: The Peninsula Hotels has partnered with Net-a-porter.com to create a series of mini guides to the world’s gateway cities, beginning this month with The Peninsula Paris. The guides will live permanently on the respective hotels’ section of The Peninsula Web site, peninsula.com, and will be featured in the travel section of Net-a-porter’s weekly online magazine The Edit during the week of the launch. Each guide offers shopping, style and dining suggestions for that particular city. Published online in English, French, Simplified and Traditional Chinese and Japanese on the Peninsula site, and in English, French, German and Simplified Chinese on Net-a-porter, the 10 mini guides will focus on a one-mile radius around each hotel. Following this month’s launch of the guide in Paris, will come Hong Kong (April 2), Shanghai (April 16), Manila (April 30) and Beverly Hills (May 14). The Peninsula New York guide will be published Sept. 3, to mark New York Fashion Week, and the Chicago guide will be published Sept. 17, followed by Bangkok (Oct. 1), Tokyo, (Oct. 15) and Beijing (Oct. 29).
